The Healing Hands Fund (H2F) was started by healthcare workers in Philly committed to supporting healthcare workers, organizations, and hospitals in Palestine. We are fundraising for prosthetic services in Gaza, where there is the largest number of child amputees in the world. 

We invite you to a screening of the film The Seven Waves, proceeds go towards our medical mutual aid in Gaza and a portion towards supporting Making Worlds programming. Healing Hands volunteers will facilitate a short community reflection and discussion afterwards.

FILM SYNOPSIS 

The Seven Waves is a testimony of love dedicated to the sea of Gaza, its stories, myths, and heroes. In two parallel timelines, the film follows the journey of a Palestinian rowing champion striving to achieve her dream and the story of a fisherman and marine rescuer who has spent his life by the Gaza Sea. Inspired by a popular myth in Gaza, The Seven Waves weaves together stories and dreams of a besieged sea, filled with life and hope.
