Join climate activists Mikaela Loach and Wawa Gatheru for a conversation about the need for radical climate action that fearlessly addresses the issues at the root of the climate crisis and to celebrate the launch of Mikaela Loach's book It's Not That Radical.

We are living in an economic order that prioritizes profit above all else, a harmful, oppressive system that heavily contributes to the climate crisis while downplaying the consequences. As climate justice organizer Mikaela Loach argues, tackling this requires us to understand and confront the roots of poverty, capitalist exploitation, and racial inequality. Written with candor and hope, It’s Not That Radical will galvanize readers to take action.

“The only real solutions to the climate crisis are those that work toward dismantling the systems that wrought it. It is a tough task, but after reading this book, you’ll be excited to take it on. After all, there’s nothing radical about saving your home!”

—Mary Annaïse Heglar

“Mikaela Loach is changing the world and inspiring a new generation to act boldly on climate justice.”
