Making Worlds Cooperative Bookstore & Social Center Screening and Discussion: Queer Cinema for Palestine: Pinkwashing Exposed

The Philly Palestine Coalition is excited to announce that Queer Cinema for Palestine is back! Join us as we launch the film festival on Thursday November 17 at Making Worlds Bookstore for an intimate screening of "Pinkwashing Exposed: Seattle Fights Back!" followed by an an audience Q&A.

Advance registration required (by donation). Click here.

The documentary follows queer, Palestinian, and Jewish community members who resisted a Zionist pinkwashing campaign and the shockwave of events that followed. As we debunk pinkwashing myths and discuss how to navigate Zionist doxxing inflicted on our own community members, we want to open up the conversation to talk about the impacts of boycotts, local organizing, and the ways we can learn from the fights of others.

Cosponsored by Philly Palestine Coalition, Workers World Party, Penn Against the Occupation, Philadelphia Young Communists League, If Not Now, & Jewish Voice for Peace, Black Alliance for Peace, and Philly BDS.
